TESTING INFORMATION:
TECHNICAL FABRIC TESTING:
The air permeability is tested on products to check the amount of air that passes through the fabric. Ensuring the product woven meets specification. Especially important in products to be used in Filtration.
TECHNICAL FABRIC TESTING
WATER FLOWRATE TESTING:
Especially important in wet filtration end use products. Also used in testing water reppelency on certain Tentage products.

For testing of heavy water proof products i.e. Tentage
Other tests performed include fabric weight testing, and twist testing. With continuous checking and testing throughout the production process we ensure the product produced meets the specifications required for it’s intended use.

ACIDS, ALKALIS AND SOLVENTS: GOOD RESISTANCE TO ALMOST ALL COMMON ACIDS. HOT CONCENTRATED SULPHURIC ACID WILL CAUSE DETERIORATION. RESISTS MOST ALKALIS.

SUNLIGHT: GOOD RESISTANCE TO UV IF BEHIND GLASS. PROLONGED EXPOSUER CAUSES WEAKENING AND DETERIORATION.

HEAT: HAS GOOD RESISTANCE TO HEAT BEGINS TO STICK AT 230.2 DEGREES CEL MELTS AT 255.8 DEG CEL

RESISTANCE TO STAINS: GOOD RESISTANCE TO WATER BORN STAINS
OIL BORN TSAINS DIFFICULT TO REMOVE

DYEABILITY: WIDE RANGE OF SHADES CAN BE PRODUCED WHICH HAVE GOOD TO EXCELLENT COLOURS FASTNESS TO LIGHT. DISPERSE, AZOIC DYES, AND SOME PIGMENTS USED.
